American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in West Virginia. Requires 5+ years RN and 1 year travel nursing, WV or compact license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and EPIC familiarity.
Position features 3x12 night shifts, 1:5 telemetry ratio, and patient mix including telemetry, post-catheterization, and med/surg with telemetry. RN license, driver license, and orientation will be provided.
Qualifications
- Active WV or compact RN license.
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Driver's license copy required for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Telemetry unit with 20 private-bed rooms.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 for telemetry; 1:3-4 for stepdown.
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia verification.
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 7p–7:30a.
- Occasional weekend and holiday rotations.
- No on-call requirements.
- Floating to comparable units as needed.
- Unit-based pharmacist coverage 7a–3p; 24/7 main pharmacy.
