Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will support the operating room team in a busy OR, preparing sterile supplies, handling instruments, and assisting during procedures while maintaining strict aseptic technique and patient safety.

Schedule features 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) for a 13-week duration. Start date is 10/18/2026.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC).
• BLS certification required.
• At least 2 years of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with sterile gowning/gloving.
• Pass instruments during procedures and manage specimen care.
• Ensure aseptic techniques and maintain sterile environments.
• Assist with instrument handling, sponge and suture management, and OR turnover.
