Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied seeks a travel Surgical Technician for a 12-week engagement in Pittsburgh, PA. The role covers sterilization, equipment prep, and operating room setup for 39 hours per week on a 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Certification as Surgical Technologist per state/client requirements.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Surgical Technician preferred.
• Biology-related degree or certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize surgical equipment and arrange surgical devices.
• Adjust medical tools to ensure devices are functioning properly.
• Assist with setup and turnover of operating rooms and tissues.
