Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a general surgery assignment at a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital. The role requires a minimum of 2 years CST experience; CST certification is optional, but licensure is required if applicable and compact licenses are not accepted.

Candidates will work in a tertiary teaching hospital with residency programs, 12-hour day shifts (11:00–23:30 or 07:00–19:30), weekend coverage 1–2 times per 4 weeks, and on-call with a 30-minute

Responsibilities

• Work within the Surgical Services unit of a tertiary teaching hospital.
• Level II Trauma Center with a busy Emergency Center.
• General surgery specialty.
• 12-hour day shifts, either 11am-11:30pm or 7am-7:30pm.
• Weekend coverage required 1-2 times per 4-week schedule.
• On-call requirement with a 30-minute response time.
• Support surgical teams in a teaching hospital environment with residency and fellowship programs across multiple specialties.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment.
