Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of experience and travel background for a hospital Surgical Services role.

The position includes a day shift on a 3x12 schedule, with robotics experience using Da Vinci Xi and Mako systems. Candidates must hold NBSTSA or NCCT certification, BLS, and an active license where applicable. Travel-friendly benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Surgical Technologist
• Travel assignment experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience in General, Neuro, Ortho and Trauma
• ENT and Plastics experience preferred
• Experience across Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, Vascular and Endoscopic procedures preferred

Responsibilities

• Community hospital OR setting with trauma, robotics, ENT and multiple surgical specialties
• Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule with rotating days off
• Call requirements apply and blocked days off cannot be guaranteed
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Utilizes Da Vinci Xi and Mako Surgical robotic systems
• Supports a wide range of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, ENT, urology, gynecology, bariatric and robotic-assisted procedures
• Maintains aseptic technique, equipment documentation and isolation precautions/PPE standards
• Participates in fire safety and emergency management protocols
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile and some holiday coverage is expected
• Pending license accepted at submission but must be active before start date
• On-site drug screening is required, including marijuana panel, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Local radius of 50 miles applies and local candidates are not accepted
