American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Labor and Birth unit in Oklahoma City. The role requires 3+ years of experience and BLS certification; CORT certification is preferred. This position uses EPIC EMR and features a day shift with 3x12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• CORT certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Labor and Birth required.
• 2 years of labor experience at a hospital delivering 350-400 babies monthly required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting on the Family Birth Place/Labor & Birth unit.
• Unit has 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts.
• Weekend hours as required by facility.
• No call requirements.
• Support labor and delivery procedures within a hospital setting recognized with a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade A.
• Black scrub color required.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Accepts local candidates with applicable rate adjustment.
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local candidate policy and contract limitations.
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment.
