Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Main OR position. Requires current hospital CST experience and BLS certification. DORA and NBSTA certifications must be active; state license as applicable. Meditech EMR experience preferred. Robotics and travel experience to large facilities are pluses.

Main OR staffing supports 8–11 rooms daily with day shift and weekend call; night call 5P–11P on weekdays; neuro/transplant cases typical. No local candidates within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current hospital CST experience.
• BLS certification required.
• DORA and NBSTA certifications must be currently active.
• State license required if applicable.
• Prior Meditech experience preferred.
• Robotics experience preferred.
• Prior traveling experience to large facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Main OR unit staffing 8-11 rooms daily.
• Day shift Monday through Friday with weekend call only.
• Night call from 5P to 11P Monday through Friday, no overnight requirement.
• Typical procedures include neuro and transplant cases.
• Uses Meditech EMR.
• Flexible personality with willingness to take call is preferred.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
