Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a pediatric hospital OR position requiring NBSTSA certification and prior travel experience. The assignment involves day hours on a Monday–Friday schedule with call requirements and strict facility compliance.

Eligible candidates must have NBSTSA CST certification, 2+ years of CST with travel (or 3 years without), and must live at least 100 miles away. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification required; no other certifications accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of CST experience with prior travel assignment, or 3 years of CST experience without travel history.
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers not considered.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric hospital surgical services department.
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
• Call requirements apply.
• Facility maintains strict compliance requirements for all candidates.
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, must work at least 1.
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning through this agency.
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates within this radius are not considered.
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application and will not be honored if submitted after an offer.
• Vaccination status must be included with submission.
• Best contact time must be clearly available for interview scheduling.
• If certifications will expire during the assignment, a documented renewal plan is required.
