American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a busy hospital Adult OR unit offering exposure to a robust robotics program and a wide range of surgical specialties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• State licensure required if applicable
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Adult OR unit with 22 operating rooms and a staff of approximately 120
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Day shift schedule with in-house 24-hour coverage
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Rotating on-call requirement averaging two 8-hour shifts per month
• No floating required
• Perform surgical technologist duties across a wide range of specialties including General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, GYN, GYN ONC, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Plastics, Burn, Urology, Podiatry, and Colo-Rectal
• Robotics experience is highly valued given the unit's large robotics surgical program
• Scrubs are hospital-provided
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
