American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Level 1 trauma academic hospital OR position requiring a wide range of surgical skills across multiple specialties. The role is in a high-volume academic facility with EPIC EMR and a 23-room OR.

Schedule features night shifts with 4x10 or 3x12 formats, call and weekend rotations; travel experience and licensure reimbursements are provided. Candidates must have at least two years of CST experience, NBSTSA certification, BLS, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• BLS certification required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via NBSTSA required
• License required if applicable
• Massachusetts state requirements for Surgical Technologists including NBSTSA/NCCT certification or equivalent
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Wide range of surgical skills across General, Lap, Robotic, Ortho, and Neuro cases

Responsabilités

• Acute care setting in a 23-room operating room at an academic facility
• OR handles 50-70 cases per day across General, Lap, Robotic, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT/Eyes specialties
• Night shift schedule with options for 4x10 (9p-7a) or 3x12 (7p-7a) shifts
• Call and weekend rotation required approximately once per month
• Weekend shifts are typically 12 hours, with possible 8-hour weekday shifts in rotation
• EPIC EMR used
• Exposure to trauma cases in a high-volume academic surgical setting
• Travel experience preferred
• Call expectations aligned with permanent staff requirements and assigned by call center
• Weekend and evening rotation schedules are determined at manager's discretion

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via NBSTSA required
• License required if applicable
• Must meet Massachusetts state requirements for Surgical Technologists, including graduation from an accredited surgical technology program and active certification from NBSTSA or NCCT, completion of a military surgical technology program, or employment as a surgical technician on or before 7/1/2013
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Must have a wide range of surgical skills including General, Lap, Robotic, Ortho, and Neuro cases
