Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Handle sterile instruments and maintain a sterile field.
• Count supplies to prevent leaving foreign objects in patients.
• Perform wound care and restock the operating room.
• Participate in quality improvement and debriefing practices.
