Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced surgical OR professional for Level 1 Trauma Center assignments in the Philadelphia area. Candidates must have BLS and NBSTSA/NCCT certifications, at least 2 years of experience including scrubbing total joints, and neuro/transplant/vascular surgical background.

PA license may be required; Cerner charting is used; scrubs provided. First-time travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA or NCCT Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, including scrubbing total joints.
• Neuro, transplant, and vascular surgical experience required.
• Valid State License or Certification required at time of submission, if applicable.
• Valid professional references and copies of certifications required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Level 1 Trauma Center Main OR setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 6:45am-3:15pm
• Call requirement of 6 weekdays within a 6-week period and 2 weekends within a 6-week period
• Weekend coverage is call only
• 1 on-call holiday and 1 work holiday required
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers are welcome
• RTO must be submitted at time of application and will not be accepted after submission
• Local candidates accepted at a different rate within a 50-mile radius
• PA Fingerprints are required and may involve travel, with completion expected within 1 week of signing a contract
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Candidates should provide a range of 3-5 days of interview availability for prioritized consideration
