Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma OR unit. The role requires at least 2 years of OR experience and CST certification. You will support diverse cases in a high-volume facility and work with Epic EMR.

Day shifts are 10 hours with a 6-week call rotation; travel-friendly benefits include housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
• BLS certification from the AHA.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA.
• Colorado Dora certification may apply; license required if applicable.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Level 1 Trauma acute care hospital setting in a 9-suite OR unit averaging 20-30 cases per day.
• Common cases include ortho, general, spine, robotics, uro, GYN, ENT, and trauma.
• Epic EMR used for charting.
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts and no self-scheduling.
• Call requirement of 6 shifts in a 6-week period, with 12-hour call shifts and a 30-minute response time.
• Rotating holiday call requirements.
• Support surgical procedures across multiple specialties including ortho, general, spine, robotics, uro, GYN, and ENT.
• Ceil-colored scrubs required per facility dress code.
• Candidates should plan to be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are completed remotely.
• Facility is located within a 60-mile radius requirement for candidate consideration.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Candidates who have been directly employed by this health system or its affiliated facilities within the past year will not be considered for this assignment.
