Required qualifications include one year of SFA RN experience, CSFA/CRNFA certification, an active WI RN license, and current BLS. The position emphasizes patient safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced operating room.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Surgical First Assistant RN.
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA or CRNFA) certifications.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulation.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures, providing exposure and hemostasis.
• Prepare and drape patients; anticipate instruments and supplies needed by the team.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Participate in Universal Protocol and timeouts to verify patient and procedure details.
