MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a First Assistant Registered Nurse (RNFA) for a travel assignment in Wisconsin. The role requires acute perioperative experience as scrub and circulating nurse, RN licensure, and RNFA training per AORN standards.

The assignment runs 6 weeks, with 40 hours per week on day shifts. This travel position offers weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive credentialing fee coverage through a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent acute care perioperative nursing experience as scrub and circulating nurse
• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• Successful RNFA program meeting AORN education standards
• BLS, ACLS, CNOR Certifications

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon as first assistant during operative procedures
• Perform intra-operative retraction, hemostasis, tissue manipulation, and wound closure
• Provide direct patient care as part of the perioperative role and communicate issues to the surgeon
