• Restaurant construction experience strongly preferred.
• Ground-up and/or renovation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling.
• Experience managing subcontractors and field personnel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day field operations on restaurant construction projects
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor sequencing
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule or field issues
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, and inspectors
• Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, schedules, and progress updates
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Assist with punch lists, inspections, closeout, and turnover
• Troubleshoot field issues and develop practical solutions
• Maintain a professional relationship with owners, clients, subcontractors, and project teams

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation restaurant construction projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have strong field leadership experience with restaurant, retail, or other fast-paced commercial construction projects.

Restaurant experience with brands such as Chili's, Applebee's, TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cracker Barrel, IHOP, Denny's, or similar concepts is highly preferred.

This position is ideal for a Superintendent who enjoys traveling, managing subcontractors, maintaining aggressive schedules, and delivering high-quality projects from mobilization through completion.
