Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Substation Technician C to support construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment across multiple locations. The role requires 2-4 years of relevant experience with 525 kV and below systems, and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Travel to Florida and other states is required. Applicants should be prepared for long hours during emergencies and be willing to work at various locations with 90% travel.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform rigorous physical labor.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights up to 125 feet above ground.
• Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Commercial Drivers’ License.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance or repair, testing, adjusting and troubleshooting of substation equipment and systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, test equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work with energized high voltage systems with careful safety practices.
