Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
• Willing to travel up to 90% and work overtime as required.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights with safety awareness.
• Capable of interpreting substation drawings and communicating with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment/systems.
• Construct foundations, ground grids, and perform steel erection.
• Work with high/low voltage buswork, capacitor banks, transformers and breakers.
• Test, adjust, troubleshoot and commission substation components.
• Maintain company vehicles, test equipment and tools in good condition.
• Operate or work around energized high voltage systems with safety.
