VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a hospital contract in Largo, Maryland. The role runs for 13 weeks, with a 40-hour week schedule (07:00–15:30) and a travel designation.

Required certifications CBSPD/CRCST/IAHCSMM/HPSA and at least 2 years of experience in sterile processing; acute hospital experience preferred. Responsibilities include cleaning, sterilization, documentation, and sets/trays assembly.

Job Details

Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Surgical Services

Location: Largo, MD

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1024.03 - 1075.23

Schedule: 07:00 - 15:30 (5x8 Days, Tuesday-Saturday; every other weekend rotating may be required)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: CBSPD; CRCST; IAHCSMM/HPSA (either certification acceptable); 2 years minimum experience; first-time travelers accepted; acute hospital OR experience; cleaning equipment and disinfectants; HLD; use of washers and sterilizers; case cart preparation; proper selection of wrapping materials; sterilization wrapping procedures; sets/trays assembly; equipment documentation; experience with ear/nose/throat, general, OB/GYN, orthopedics, plastics, and urology; biol indicators; chemical indicators; IUSS; stem sterilization

Responsibilities

• Clean equipment using appropriate disinfectants and HLD processes.
• Operate washers and sterilizers and complete required equipment documentation.
• Assemble sets and trays and select appropriate wrapping materials.
• Perform sterilization wrapping procedures and use biological and chemical indicators.
• Support surgical services across applicable specialty areas and assigned locations.
