Fusion Medical Staffing in Maryville, TN is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and strong clinical team support.

You will monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to deliver safe, patient-centered care for patients transitioning from ICU to stepdown units. A valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and one year of Stepdown experience are required; PCCN/NIHSS preferred.

Competenze

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license valid per state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) current.

Mansioni

• Monitors and interprets telemetry and vital signs, responding to abnormalities.
• Administers medications and treatments following nursing techniques.
• Assists with cardiac procedures and examinations with physician support.
• Maintains patient comfort, safety, and education for telemetry patients.
• Documents assessments, notifies physicians of status changes, and records responses.
• Responds to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per protocols.
• Maintains patient records and confidentiality while collaborating with the care team.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
