Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Providence, RI. This role requires one year Stepdown experience, licensed to practice, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

You will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac medications, and collaborate with the care team to provide safe, patient-centered care in a facility setting. Travel nurses enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in state regulations.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies supervisor or physician as needed.
• Responds to cardiac emergencies per standards and protocols.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
