Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license per state regulations.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vitals, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed meds with focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintain telemetry patient comfort and safety.
• Document patient status and notify physicians as needed.
• Respond to emergencies per cardiac protocols.
• Document nursing history and assessments.
• Initiate patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for telemetry care.
• Maintain patient and client confidentiality.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
