Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
- Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
- Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients
- Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
- Adheres to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines
