TravelNurseSource is partnering with Fusion Medical Staffing to fill a Stepdown RN travel assignment in High Point, North Carolina (27262). This 13-week role offers a competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits through Fusion’s travel program.

The position requires 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, NC RN license, BLS and ACLS certs, with PCCN/NIHSS preferred. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and eligible to practice in North Carolina.
• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data continuously.
• Administer prescribed meds and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Document assessments and outcomes; communicate with the care team.
