Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Concord, North Carolina. You will provide specialized telemetry care, monitor cardiac patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment.
The role requires one year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive insurance with support from a dedicated clinical team.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments
- Assists with cardiac-related procedures and examinations
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety for telemetry patients
- Documents patient status and notifies physicians of cardiac status
- Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols
- Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors
- Collaborates with the inter-disciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care
- Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
