Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. You will provide expert care for patients transitioning from intensive care, with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused interventions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and cardiac rhythms, reports abnormalities and responds promptly
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
