Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in High Point, North Carolina. The role is a 13-week contract on nights, located at a facility in High Point, NC (27262). You will join a dedicated clinical team and provide specialized cardiac care to patients transitioning from ICU to general inpatient units.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in NC in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• PCCN and NIHSS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond.
• Administer medications and treatments with cardiac focus.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
