A Stepdown RN provides care for patients transitioning from ICU to med-surg or general units, requiring ongoing monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. You will assess needs, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Active RN license valid in Ohio.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willing to travel for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and cardiac-focused treatments.
• Assist with cardiac procedures and prepare required equipment.
• Educate patients and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient safety and document care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Maintain confidentiality.
