Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lorain, OH. You will provide high-level cardiac care and transition patients from ICU to medical-surgical units, while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license (state regulations).
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilités

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs, responding to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments and notes changes in cardiac status.
• Responds to life-threatening emergencies per clinical protocols.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
