The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license in Ohio, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Telemetry, cardiac care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential to this position.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current valid RN license in Ohio
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Aufgaben

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Assist physician during cardiac procedures and examinations
• Maintain comfort and safety for telemetry patients
• Document nursing history and assessments; report changes to supervisor/physician
• Respond to life-threatening situations per unit protocols
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry patient care
• Maintain patient and client confidentiality
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
