Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Derry, NH. You will provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with telemetry monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.
The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and strong clinical team support to travelers. Must have 1 year Stepdown RN experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS; PCCN preferred.
Qualifications
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
- RN license compliant with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
- Administer prescribed medications and cardiac care.
- Assist with cardiac procedures and exams.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
- Document nursing history and assessments.
- Provide patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for telemetry patients.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
- Perform other duties within scope of practice.
