MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience. Other facility-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and uses the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collects and analyzes health data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and family education.
• Revises care plans based on evaluation and changes in medical plans.
