Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Henrico, Virginia. This Stepdown RN role offers 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and a pay package with comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of step-down experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced travel setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents patient status and notifies supervisor of changes.
• Responds to life-saving situations per hospital protocols.
• Educates patients on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
