Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.

The position requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience. Travel employment with 13-week duration and 36 hours per week, night shifts, is offered with comprehensive benefits and credentialing coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; use the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team; document nursing diagnoses.
• Document the plan of care with nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care as needed.
