Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Torrance, CA. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized plans with a focus on outcomes and quality of life.

The role requires state licensure, current BLS, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Travel responsibilities and competitive benefits accompany a comprehensive support system.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in electronic medical records accurately.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Pursue quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice.
