Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Perris, California. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders across ages, with collaboration among interdisciplinary teams and a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in California per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Travel-ready for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
