Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across patient populations, with a focus on evidence-based therapy and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires California licensure and current BLS, with preferred CCC-SLP and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license and current BLS certification.
• Must meet California state regulations for licensure.
• Preferred CCC-SLP and Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and patient goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and safe swallowing practices.
