Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Torrance, California. The position offers a 40-hour work week, with standard 8-hour shifts, and the opportunity to impact patients' lives while enjoying competitive compensation and benefits.

Candidates must hold a valid SLP license in California and a current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Speech Language Pathology experience; New Grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.
