Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Ypsilanti, MI. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements include state-licensed SLP and current BLS; preferred qualifications include CCC-SLP and a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Comprehensive benefits and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required or active.
• Master's degree or higher in SLP is preferred.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and track patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
