Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Marshall, MI. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active state license as Speech-Language Pathologist (MI)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse ages
• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Document patient progress in the EMR with accuracy
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain safe treatment environments adhering to infection control standards
• Pursue quality improvement and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
• Perform additional duties within scope as needed
