Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Marshall, Michigan. The role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and an ASAP start.

As part of our team, you will evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across varied settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. The position requires Michigan licensure and current BLS; preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse ages using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Document progress clearly in the EMR and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on effective communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality assurance activities.
