Job summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Fusion Medical Staffing is a travel role based in Mattoon, IL, for a 13-week assignment. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, and collaborate with a clinical team to implement tailored treatment plans.

Candidates should hold an SLP license, current BLS, and preferably CCC-SLP. The role emphasizes evidence-based therapy, detailed documentation, and patient-family education in a supportive travel

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP and state licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and track progress.
• Document assessments and progress in EMR with accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on therapy activities and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control.
