Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing invites applications for a Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Westland, MI, for a 13-week assignment. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with care teams to improve patient outcomes.

Preferred candidates hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP, with state licensure and BLS. Experience is valued, though new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience in speech-language pathology welcome for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders across a diverse population.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in electronic medical records and maintain accurate notes.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment and address comfort needs.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
