Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Northridge, California. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized therapy plans.

Candidates must hold an active SLP license in California and BLS; preferred qualifications include CCC-SLP and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Active CA SLP license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: CCC-SLP and Master’s degree in SLP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
