Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Chico, CA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, delivering individualized therapy plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Monitor progress and document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain safe, infection-controlled treatment environments and adhere to standards.
