Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Stockton, California. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across ages, with a focus on evidence-based therapy and patient-centered care.

This travel position offers 40 hours per week, a standard 8-hour shift, travel benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification.
• SLP experience or new grads welcome to apply.
• Other licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Monitor progress and document in EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain safe, infection-controlled treatment environments.
• Engage in professional development and quality improvement activities.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
