Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Alameda, CA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse settings, collaborating with a care team to implement individualized treatment plans.

The role requires a valid SLP license, current BLS, and ideally CCC-SLP/ASHA certification. Travel benefits and comprehensive clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP or ASHA certification preferred; licensure requirements may vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Document progress and maintain EMR documentation.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain safety and infection control during therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
