Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Alameda, CA. Start ASAP, 35 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.

As part of a dedicated clinical team, you will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, while enjoying travel-friendly benefits and ongoing professional support. Licensure in CA and CCC-SLP are preferred; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP certification
• Experience in Speech-Language Pathology (new grads welcome)
• Other required certifications or licenses may apply

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse ages
• Develop individualized therapy plans and implement evidence-based practices
• Document progress and maintain EMR records accurately
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams for comprehensive care
• Ensure safe treatment environment and adhere to regulatory standards
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
