• Ability to work a 40-hour week in a 5x8 day shift and to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide evidence-based therapy addressing communication, feeding/swallowing safety, and cognitive-communication needs.
• Monitor progress, document evaluation results and treatment notes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate progress and recommendations to residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing goals in daily care.
