Qualifications

• Active MA state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA certification and current CPR certification.
• Minimum 3+ years pediatric feeding and swallowing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric speech-language pathology services focusing on feeding and swallowing in inpatient and outpatient settings; perform MBS as appropriate.
• Conduct bedside evaluations, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and document progress in EPIC.
• Support patients across inpatient units, including NICU, Pediatric Inpatient Floor, and Pediatric ICU as assigned; manage trach/vent considerations when applicable.
• Attend required team meetings; collaborate with the Pediatric SLP Section Leader for supervision and guidance; participate in department trainings and competency assessments.
• Ensure adherence to department standards for patient care, documentation, and outcome measurement; facilitate smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric speech-language pathology services with a focus on feeding and swallowing in both inpatient and outpatient settings; perform MBS as appropriate
• Conduct bedside evaluations, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and document progress in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
• Support patients across inpatient units, including NICU, Pediatric Inpatient Floor, and Pediatric ICU as assigned; manage trach/vent considerations when applicable
• Attend all required team meetings during scheduled hours; collaborate with the Pediatric SLP Section Leader for supervision and guidance; participate in department trainings and competency assessments
• Ensure adherence to department standards for patient care, documentation, and outcome measurement; facilitate smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient care

Requirements

• Active MA State Licensure; ASHA Certification; Current CPR Certification
• Minimum 3+ years pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
• Ability to work independently after completion of pediatric-specific training and competencies
• Experience in NICU, Pediatric Inpatient Floor, Pediatric ICU preferred; comfort with trach/vent needs is a plus
• Proficiency with EPIC or willingness to learn and use the system
• Eligible to work in the United States; ability to work in a hospital-based setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
